Digestible is an interface for 'digesting' the news on future e-paper devices. The project aimed to explore the ways that people understand the news, as no two readers will consume the news in the same way.

Two Modes
The Digestible offers two main methods of navigating the news. One is a traditional view based popularity, region, or editor's picks. The other is a topical view that allows you to browse the news by current topics, rather than articles.

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/2/68582/835702/Digestible2_905.jpg" border="0" width="900" height="675" width_o="900" height_o="675" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/2/68582/835702/Digestible2_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;
Customizable Front Page
A customizable front page allows users to 'remix' the news by pulling sliders representing news sections. News sources can also be customized, ranging from local news to major newspapers to blogs.

Magazine Mode
When the e-paper is folded in half, it turns into a magazine mode, with news presented in a focused single article-at-a-time manner.</description>

		<description>A revolutionary vehicle for the future that uses an autonomous maglev guideway for highway use. The DualMode system combines two systems for greater efficiency. First is the maglev mode which uses an autonomous maglev guideway system used for faster and longer journeys, such as your daily freeway commute. Your freeway commute then becomes your time to socialize, get work done, or relax. Second is street mode which allows you optional manual driving through local streets. Such a system offers drastic savings in energy, and is a plausible solution for cities that have been built around the freeway system.

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/2/68582/820004/dualmode1_905.jpg" border="0" width="900" height="506" width_o="900" height_o="506" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/2/68582/820004/dualmode1_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;

A New Car Layout
The seating layout is two people front-to-back. This to set a new standard car footprint, increase efficiency in aerodynamics, and to facilitate better social interaction, where two people can face each other while on their automated commute. If more than two people are travelling, they can use a publicly available DualMode vehicle, and everyone can interact via digital wall panels inside the vehicle.

The Future Youth
Changing at the limitless speed of technology, the youth of tomorrow will desire a digitally customizable vehicle and a social space to hang out.

A Day in the Life

		<description>This interactive installation is meant to inspire new thoughts in the participants about man's disparate relationship to the earth, and how a sense of time is wholly misunderstood by man, but perhaps better understood by the earth.

When the observer walks up to the clock in the middle, he/she sees the reflection of the god-like glow of traffic from above. The participant turns the clock, but the hands on the clock stay still. The participant is essentially only turning the numbers on the clock in either direction, and this controls the speed of the video. Each traffic scene is narrated either by the earth or the people, and this back-and-forth dialog reveals our diverging views of time, progress, and importance.

		<description>SP3RE is an interface design for mobile devices which uses 3d navigation, optimized information architecture, and a physical interaction-friendly design. By observing, testing and researching problems with current touchscreen phones, it became apparent that there is ample room for new types of interfaces that better utilize the actionable properties of touchscreen technology.
